Design Within Reach was founded in 1998 with a mission: making authentic, modern furnishings accessible. Based in Stamford, Connecticut, DWR markets and sells furniture and accessories to both residential and trade customers online and through its retail studios in North America.

Design Within Reach exists to make authentic modern design accessible. Authentic means that it’s the real thing. We don’t do “inspired by” or “just as good as” or “in the spirit of.”

DWR makes every effort to deliver goods constructed of premium materials built by highly skilled craftspeople to very exacting standards, and we stands behind the quality of everything we sell from DWR.
